Playing times - Temporary suspension of play at Kelburn

From 18 August, the lawns at Kelburn Croquet Club have been undergoing major works. The existing turf is being dug up and re-sown. While we are very excited about the prospect of new lawns, it means all play at Kelburn is suspended until December 2025. Our members are able to play at some of the other Wellington region clubs by arrangement during while our
lawns are closed. Work on the new lawns has proceeded well so far. Photos of the work in progress are on the website under the All Photos tab.

Our Inter-Club matches will all be played “away” in October and November. Our Summer Season will start on 6 December. We then plan a gradual return to our normal playing times, with no twilight Golf Croquet, individual practice, or Sunday play planned until early 2026. This means our Summer Season will initially have play at the following times:

Tuesday 1.00 - 4.00 pm Golf Croquet
Wednesday 10.00 am - 12.30 pm Association Croquet
Thursday 9.30 am - 12.30 pm Golf Croquet
Friday 10.00 am - 1.00 pm Association Croquet
Saturday 9.30 am - 12.30 pm Golf Croquet. 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm Association Croquet
Sunday no play
